Dennise Reno

For more than 30 years, Dennise Reno has helped organizations communicate clearly when the work matters too much to get wrong. As founder of RENO Design, she provides strategic communications, creative direction, writing and design for healthcare, education, policy, nonprofit and community-focused organizations.

Since launching RENO Design in 1996, Dennise has partnered with clients ranging from local nonprofits and foundations to statewide organizations and national campaigns. Her work includes brand identities, websites, annual and impact reports, fundraising communications, advocacy campaigns and digital systems—all grounded in thoughtful strategy and compelling storytelling.

Before focusing full time on RENO Design, Dennise spent 13 years with the Baton Rouge Area Foundation, where she served as art director and supported major philanthropic, civic and quality-of-life initiatives. She was also part of the founding team of 225 magazine and has developed and produced conferences, fundraising events and community convenings, including the Healthy State Summit for Ochsner Health.

Today, Dennise combines decades of communications and design experience with AI-assisted research, synthesis and workflow tools. The technology helps accelerate the work; strategy, judgment, writing and design remain distinctly human.

Her approach is simple: understand the challenge, find the clearest story and make the strategy visible.
